Littlebitaswagger turned a two-hole trip into a 12-1 upset score for 'Team Harris' in Monday’s $8,500 Preferred 3 for horse and gelding pacers at Grand River Raceway.
J Harris dropped Littlebitaswagger into the pocket while Mister X shot to the top and carved out panels of :27.4, :57.3 and 1:26.3. It took the entire stretch drive for Littlebitaswagger to haul down the tempo-setter, but he did in a time of 1:56. Mister X was a dead-game runner-up, while Bestofthebunch rounded out the Trifecta ticket.
Jack Harris owns and trains the six-year-old son of Santanna Blue Chip-Aspirine Semalu who now owns a 3-5-1 record from 12 trips postward in 2018. The 16-time winner lifted his lifetime earnings to $148,806 with the victory.
