Flamboro Downs’ leading driver, Scott Zeron, put on a clinic Saturday afternoon capturing five races on the card - four of which were with upset winners

Zeron scored his first two wins in the third race with 9-1 fourth choice M G Energik (1:57.2) for trainer Pat Fletcher and in the sixth race with 6-1 fifth choice Sealcrest Penny (1:56.3) for Domenico Dicicco before he went back-to-back to capture the final three races on the 11-race card. Zeron scored his other victories with the Paul Taylor-trained Cammiofthenorth (1:59.3), 46-1 Uncle Bill Mac (1:55.2) for Blake MacIntosh and 6-1 fourth choice Pacer Bayama (1:58.1) for Terrance Newman.
Zeron has won 153 races this season at Flamboro and maintains a 14-win lead over runner-up Simon Allard. The 21-year-old resident of Oakville, ON currently sits fifth in the Canadian drivers standings for wins (240) and has cracked the top 10 for earnings ($1,556,407).
