Joining the 2,000-win club is an accomplishment that isn’t far away for driver Pascal Berube, and nights like Thursday evening will certainly speed up the process
for the Portneuf-Station, Quebec reinsman.
Berube put together a five-win performance on Thursday evening at Sulky Quebec, and in doing so he pushed his lifetime win total to 1,961.
He swept the Daily Double with Do Fool Me (2:04.1) and Special Thinker (2:00.2) before returning to victory lane in the fourth race with Rap Bob (2:00). Back-to-back wins with Albertjamesalbert (2:00) and Can You Tieitinaboe (2:00.1) in the eighth and ninth races complete the five-bagger.
Berube has sat behind the winners of more than $5.6 million in his career.
