Whats Up Doc made every call a winning one in the $2,000 Winners Over Pace at Inverness Raceway on Wednesday, June 25, cruising wire-to-wire for the victory.

In the compact field of five, driver Redmond Doucet sent 8-5 favourite Whats Up Doc straight to the front and never looked back, posting fractions of :30, 1:00.2, and 1:30 before stopping the clock in 1:58.4, securing the victory by two lengths. Constant pressure came from Lofty Shadow (Rodney Gillis), but he had to settle for second. Eastcoast Invader (Monica Sutherland) rounded out the top three.

Trained and owned by John MacLellan of Mabou, N.S., Whats Up Doc is a six-year-old gelded son of Hilarious Halo out of CBR Maybe Loaded. The win was his second of the season and 18th career victory, boosting his seasonal earnings to $2,155 and his career bankroll to $24,514.
