Incredible Her Bee (Here Comes Herbie--Joys Incredible, by Incredible Abe) got things started with a gate-to-wire score in 2:04.2 for the trainer-driver combo of Carl Jamieson and Paul MacDonell. The brown filly crossed over from Post 8, did all the work and trotted off to win by more than four lengths.

Another from the barn of Carl Jamieson found the wire first in the second race, as Wark Woman (Ken Warkentin--Womanlee, by Angus Hall) posted a one-length win in 2:02.4 for driver Jody Jamieson. Of note, the qualifier also featured the first foal of superstar trotting mare Peaceful Way, Noble Peace Prize.

The Baillargeon Brothers, trainer Ben and driver Mario, clicked in Race 3 with Tyranny Seelster (Angus Hall--Tymal Timeout, by Royal Strength). The filly started from Post 3 and sat sixth early, but was overland in third by the time the opening half was met. The brown lass cleared to the lead on the final turn, clicked off the three quarters and cruised home for a three-length win in 2:03.1.

Destinys Magic (Kadabra--Gracious Glide, by Yankee Glide) followed Tyranny Seelster's style in Race 4, as the brown filly closed for a one and half-length win. Driver Paul MacDonell positioned the brown filly sixth in the early going before embarking on an overland journey. Destinys Magic raced first up into the stretch and persevered for the 2:01.2 victory.
