A showdown between two Delaware-bred pacing colts is being staged for July 30 as both Gary and Barbara Iles Zee Barber ($2.40, Jim Morand) and Richards Stable, Donna Sullivan and Judy Leonard's Rays Big Bubba ($2.40, Ross Wolfenden) won their Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund $20,000 eliminations for three-year-old pacing colts and geldings Wednesday at Harrington Raceway in an identical 1:53.2

.

For 'Bubba', who is trained by Scott Gregoire, it was his 12th career win in 18 starts, while George Teague-trained 'Barber' notched his sixth lifetime win in 12 starts. Both horses seized command approaching the quarter mile and prevailed relatively easy for repeat victories.

In the third division, James Coughlin's Game Day ($8.20, John Wagner) emerged a winner with a 1:55 triumph.

There will be four $100,000 final events set for July 30, during a special Governor's Day card of racing during the Delaware State Fair.

There is no live racing Thursday, June 25 or Sunday, June 28 at Harrington, but live racing resumes Monday, June 29.
