The Jeff Holmes stable was relentless all night long on Saturday, June 22 with a training triple at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

All three wins came with Brady Sweet in the race bike, with Outrageous Show starting the action off winning race eight in lifetime-best performance of 1:55.3.

Imalookertoo doubled up Sweet and Holmes in race 10 with a front-end victory of 1:54.4 then Elroy Shiner put the finishing touches on the evening winning race 11 in 1:56.

The training triple puts Holmes back in control of the training title at Red Shores Charlottetown with 22 wins, surpassing Jennifer Doyle, who now sits with 21 winners.

Although trainer Doyle relinquished control of the lead in the training standings, Leavin Bruises (Damian MacLellan) won the final race of the evening in 1:57.2 to give the Earnscliffe, P.E.I. horsewoman a single win on the program. With that victory, Doyle has won at least one race on every program at Red Shores Charlottetown since May 25.

Trainer Tom Weatherbie had two of his trainees win on the night, both with Brodie MacPhee in the sulky. Shanes Dream was a 1:57.3 winner in race four and Fern Hill General won race nine in 1:53.3 for the fastest trip of the night.

Twin B Tuffenuff (pictured above) captured the $4,000 Preferred Pace in 1:54.1 with Gilles Barrieau driving for owner Pat Morris and trainer Ron Matheson. All Bets On Tex (Ken Murphy) was second ahead of Island Beach Boy (MacPhee).

Barrieau and Matheson won earlier on the program with The Sports Desk in a new personal best of 1:56 to give both the trainer and driver a pair of winners.
