ATI Seaside Cruise retook the lead near the quarter and overpowered the field of freshman filly pacers in Wednesday’s $8,000 opening leg of a Pop Up Series at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.
Once Dave Palone gave the daughter of Downbytheseaside-Cruisin Corrine a :31 second quarter breather, the race was effectively over. She scored in 1:57.1 in her second career start, 1-1/4 lengths better than early leader Plausibldniability, with Kelsea Is Money third.
