Meadowlands Racetrack's annual Ms. Hot to Trot Pageant will take place this Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25 between live races beginning at 7:15 p.m.
Twenty-five girls will compete for the 2016 Ms Hot to Trot title and $5,000 grand prize; the runner-up will receive $2,500.
Friday night kicks off the event as the contestants will be invited on stage between races one through six for the swimsuit round and a quick question and answer session. After the eighth race, all contestants will come back on stage where the 10 finalists will be announced and invited to come back for the final.
Saturday night, 10 finalists will return to compete in three different rounds - casual wear between races one and two, swimsuits between races three and four, and formal wear between races five and six. Ms Hot to Trot and the runner-up will be announced after the 10th race.
Live racing begins at 7:15 p.m. on both nights. Friday night includes the $200,000 Arthur J. Cutler Memorial featuring a field of seven with total earnings of over $6 million.
