Henry Wins Five At Grand River

Grand River Raceway's leading driver Trevor Henry was back to his winning ways on Friday night, making five trips to the winner's circle throughout the 12-race card.

Henry bookended his five-bagger in races two and 12 aboard a pair of Richard Moreau students, Luke But Dontouch ($2.90) and Tylers Great ($5.10), who posted the largest winning margin of the night at seven and a quarter lengths. Henry also scored back-to-back wins in races six and seven with the Ray Bunn-conditioned maiden-breaker, Ladyslilram ($18.20), and Steve Labonte trainee Orasi L B ($4.70). His other win came in race 10 aboard Felicia Hall ($11.10) for trainer Mike Stoikopoulos.

Kicking off his first weekend of racing since competing in the World Driving Championship in France, the Arthur, Ont. horseman boosted his seasonal win total to 216 while his purse earnings climbed to $935,742. Lifetime, he has steered 4,814 winners for total purse earnings of over $30.7 million.
