Erwin Andrew Memorial Opener Drawn

The connections of 20 distaffers have entered their charges to contest the first leg of the Erwin Andrew Memorial Aged Mares Pacing Series, which will take place Saturday, June 25 at Red Shores' Charlottetown Driving Park

.

The opening-leg divisions have been carded as Race 7, 9 and 11 on the 12-dash card which will get underway at 6:00 p.m.

The first division, which will house a field of six, will see 10-year-old Cambest mare Abby Best start from the rail for trainer Angus Maclean and driver Todd Trites.

Eight-year-old Full Scholarship mare Kaitlyn Rose will start from Post 2 for conditioner Ralph Sweet and driver Marc Campbell in the seven-horse second division.

The third division will feature the Kenny Arsenault-trained and driven Meridian Magic. The four-year-old daughter of Largo will start from Post 6

In total, the Erwin Andrew Memorial Aged Mares Pacing Series will offer four preliminary legs before the October 15 at CDP
