Dirt Track Momma will look to deliver from the rail in the Thursday night feature at Red Shores' Charlottetown Driving Park.
The five-year-old daughter of E Dees Cam survived a tough first-over journey in last week’s edition of the $2,200 Mares Open before falling short by less than a length in 1:57 to Doober Hoozzitz. Marc Campbell will drive Dirt Track Momma Thursday in the Race 12 Open Mares event for trainer Neal Moase and owner Jonah Moase.
Dirt Track Momma will face Bunny Mach (to be driven by Jason Hughes), Ovation Killean (Vaughn Doyle), General Luckypercy (Brodie MacPhee), Doober Hoozzitz (Terry Gallant), Donna Conda (Mike McGuigan), JK Special (Walter Cheverie) and Private Joke (Gary Chappell).
The $1,550 co-feature will line up for Race 7 and will feature Arabica (Mike Stevenson), Ebandtheboys (Cheverie) and Likely To Win (Campbell), among others.
The evening trot class will head postward as Race 5, with top entries including Anita Blossom (Brian MacPhee), JK Queen (Cheverie) and Scarlet Patti (Darryl MacLean).
Also on the card, Dianna Santanna will look to keep her undefeated streak alive from Post 6 in Race 9. The three-year-old Santanna Blue Chip filly has had four wins in as many starts in 2013 and has been installed as the morning-line favourite for driver Brodie MacPhee, trainer Tom Weatherbie and owner Doug MacPhee of Cornwall.
First-race post time for the 12-dash Thursday card is 7:00 p.m.
