Ronnie Wrenn, Jr. put on a driving clinic Tuesday evening at Northfield Park thanks to his impressive, six-win performance.
His winners included Village Boss ($4.00), Friskie Town ($2.10), Rosebud Sharkalert ($5.00), Rare Commodity ($15.00), Ridge Park ($3.60) and Goin Home Ray ($11.20).
Twenty-six-year-old Wrenn started driving in 2008 and has since garnered 878 career victories and is approaching $3,000,000 in purse earnings. Wrenn is third in the Northfield Park 2013 driver standings. He has driven 108 winners this year at Northfield, but has piloted 266 total winners this year.
Wrenn’s win tally ranks him as the fifth winningest driver in the North America so far this year. Only Corey Callahan, David Palone, Tim Tetrick and Aaron Merriman have more wins this year than Ronnie Wrenn, Jr.
