Driver Anthony MacDonald set the tone for his six-win night at Flamboro Downs in the Sunday opener.

MacDonald pulled off a 10-1 upset in the first race with a three-year-old Armbro Deuce gelding that he recently acquired, Rob Fellows trainee Deuce Man ($23.50), who took a new mark of 1:57.1. Three races later he prevailed with Stormont Fried ($10.10) for Norm Jones and went back-to-back with Red Star Killer ($3.60) for Georgios Antoniou.

The victories kept on coming for the resident of Guelph, Ont. as he reached the winner's circle three more times during the second half of the program. MacDonald clicked with the streaking Capitalism ($3.10) in the seventh race for David O'Brien, and won the ninth and 10th with Bonnie Ronnie ($3) for David Frey and Tsm Starlit Cruise ($8.30) for Craig Brewer.

MacDonald, who has won 191 races so far this season while banking over $1.93 million in purses, is among the top 10 drivers in Canada for wins and earnings.
