Breakaway Racing's Valuable Art was a 1:54.2 winner in the $10,000 Mares Open Tuesday (June 16) at Harrington Raceway.
Valuable Art assumed the lead near the opening quarter in :27.3 seconds, where she stayed through the half in :57 seconds and three-quarters in 1:25.4 before opening a four-length lead near the top of the stretch. Anytime N gained ground late to finish second while Lil O Reilly held third. Trained by Nick Callahan, it was the 23rd win for the daughter of Art Official who is closing in on $500,000 in career earnings. Corey Callahan drove the $8.00 winner.
Tim Tetrick, Corey Callahan and Art Stafford Jr. each had a driving double.
Live racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule.
