With Earl Smith at the controls, Troxel Hanover ripped through fractions of :29.1, 1:01 and 1:30.1 before using a :28.4 final frame to seal the deal by a neck over La Pensee Du Jour in 1:59. Fox Valley Peepsho rallied to finish third.
