Despite entering his Tuesday evening assignment at Mohawk Racetrack with a 7-for-15 record in 2010, the Steve Bossence-trained Tacs Delight received little support from the betting public

.

Judging by his performance, the five-year-old son of Self Possessed clearly took offense to the pari-mutuel snub.

Tacs Delight front-stepped to a career-best clocking of 1:53 in the $32,000 Preferred Trot for driver Steve Condren. The gelding settled into a three-hole trip in the early going, but Condren punched the throttle as soon as the field hit the backstretch.

Tacs Delight, who cleared without a tussle, proceeded to roll the field through middle splits of :56.1 and 1:24 before using a :29-second final quarter to seal the deal by 1-3/4 lengths. Sand Wyndham edged out Slave Dream for the place award in the trotting contest.

With the win, Tacs Delight improved his 2010 record to 8-2-0 in 16 starts. The winner of $155,040, who is owned by Bossence and partners Dan Smith and Lee Barton Enterprises Ltd, is now 11-for-30 in his career.
