WEG To Bolster T-Bred Pick 6 Pools

According to an article by Rob Longley in today's edition of the Toronto Sun, the Woodbine Entertainment Group is giving its exotic players a very big reason to handicap Woodbine Racetrack's Pick Six wager this

Sunday at the Toronto oval.

Longley has reported that WEG is going to be giving gamblers a big boost by putting $150,000 into the Pick Six pool for Sunday's card. The 150th anniversary of the Queen's Plate is one of the races which will comprise the Pick Six wager.

According to the article, WEG will today announce that $150,000 will be infused into the Pick Six pool on Sundays for the remainder of the thoroughbred meet.

What a great idea, actually promoting gambling on horse racing, hopefully management will try this on the standardbred side.
Our only marketing plan seems to be to turn off gamblers with our ridiculous new whipping rule. Time to wake up and remember we are in the gambling business.
