Unefoisdansmavie captured her third straight victory when she charged through the Lightning Lane and erased a two and a half length deficit in Wednesday’s $13,500 Filly & Mare Winners Over $10,000 Life Trot.
Long one of The Meadows’ elite distaff trotters, the nine-year-old daughter of Revenue S-Peace To The World had to drop into conditioned races to collect her two most recent wins. Bettors weren’t overly impressed with those victories, dismissing her at 10-1.
She trotted patiently for Eric Goodell, then roared past her stablemate, Classical Annie, late to down her by a half-length in 1:54. Princess Pablano rallied for show.
Ron Burke trains Unefoisdansmavie, who extended her career bankroll to $589,109, for Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and Jack Piatt III.
Mike Wilder piloted four winners, boosting his career total to 6,995, while Dave Palone and Burke each enjoyed a triple on the 13-race card.
Live racing at The Meadows resumes Saturday, when the program features the $54,000 Meadows Maturity for trotters four years old and up. First post is 1 p.m.
