Owner-trainer Paula Pidutti visited the winner’s circle three times during Wednesday night’s nine-race program at Sudbury Downs with three different drivers

sitting behind her pupils.

The resident of Sudbury, Ont. scored her first win in the second race with the streaking six-year-old No Pan Intended mare Pretty Patriot ($4.20), with Gerry Belanger doing the driving. Mike MacNeill drove her next winner, four-year-old Omar Khayam gelding Sambucca Mystic ($12.20) in the fifth race and Wayne MacLean guided seven-year-old Artist Stena son Red Leaf Morgan ($27.60) to victory in the seventh race.

Pidutti has sent out eight winners in 24 starts this year for a .439 UDRS. Her training triple pushes her career win total to 60 and lifts her earnings to $361,172.

MacLean drive four winners on the program, including two of his own trainees.
