All American N made his way to the front early and held firm to the finish to repeat in the $12,000 Open Handicap Trot at Running Aces on Sunday (June 13).

All American N was sent off as the 4-5 favourite in the contest and started from post 6. Driver Luke Plano wasted no time in getting All American N to the front of the field and was able to register very moderate fractions throughout the opening half mile of :28.4 and :59.4. He then kicked into high gear for a final half of :56.4 to keep the rest of the field in chase mode. Mandeville had the pocket trip and was able to hold second over Bordogna, who rallied late for third in the 1:56.3 mile.

All American N is a seven-year-old son of Muscle Hill owned by Jose Cervantes and trained by Edward Hernandez. He paid $3.60 to win.

The $7,100 Sophomore Open Trot event went to Coatofmanycolors, who left alertly from post 5 and then yielded the lead to Ice Titan. The Royal Queen launched a first-over attack past the half and pressured the leader all the way into the lane, while Coatofmanycolors saved ground and then exploded in the passing lane to draw away from the field for a two-length score in a career best mile of 2:00. Ice Titan held second and The Royal Queen was third best. The winner is a filly by Tymal Templar, owned and trained by Jenni King. Nick Roland drove the $3.40 winner.

Western Devil (Nick Roland, $5.20) posted another sharp win to make it four in a row in a $3,900 pacing event for his seventh win of the season and 27th tally. After an early battle for the lead, Western Devil took control just past the quarter and led at every call from there, scoring a half-length victory over longshot Fox Valley Hoss in 1:58.1. The winner of $117,816 is a gelding by Power Of Art and is owned by Bill Dessert and is also trained by Roland.

Driver Nick Roland led the Sunday program with three winners, while Roland and Ariel Alvarez each completed a training double.

Live Racing returns to Running Aces on Tuesday (June 15) with first post at 6:05 p.m. (CDT) and will feature a carryover in the 20-cent Pick-5 Jackpot wager of $16,357.34 and a guaranteed pool of $5,000 in the Late Pick-4 wager.
