It’s now three straight scores in the Open Pace at Fraser Downs for Armycaptin Hanover, who rolled to a 1:56 triumph in Monday evening’s $7,000 featured affair.

Trainer/driver Kelly Hoerdt got away second with Armycaptin Hanover who was allowed to track Mach Steady to the quarter pole in :27.4 before looping past that foe in the second quarter.

Once in charge of the speed, Armycaptin Hanover slipped through middle splits of :56.4 and 1:26.2 before kicking home in :29.3 to win by a length over Mach Steady in 1:56.  Redneck Jim took home third prize in the five-horse affair.
