According to a report, Ohio Senate President Tom Niehaus has indicated that slot machines will be introduced to the state's racetracks. The news comes at the same time an agreement regarding Cincinnati and Cleveland casinos was announced.

An article on cincinnati.com has cited Ohio Governor John Kasich as saying that in addition to the casino aspect of the arrangement, the deal includes a plan to allow video slot machines at the state's seven racetracks.

Details of the agreement are reportedly to be released later this week.
