Another fifteen-race program was served up at Rideau Carleton Raceway on Sunday evening, and trainer Sebastien Giroux padded his already impressive season totals by racking up four more wins

Giroux watched his yearly UTR soar to .423 by the end of the night, while his lifetime total climbed to a very impressive .363.
Gord Brown guided the Giroux-trained Dr Thrill to a 1:54.3 tally in Race 2 to get things rolling, before Guy Gagnon stepped up and clicked with that one’s stablemate, Abundaspin (1:58.3), in Race 4. Brown got up in the nick of time with Uncle Goodfellow (1:56.4) in Race 7 to complete Giroux’s hat trick, and Neocon completed the Grand Slam for the white conditioner thanks to his 1:54.1 triumph in Race 8.
Jamie Copley continues to hold a commanding lead in Rideau Carleton Raceway’s trainers’ standings, but Giroux is the best of the rest thanks to a win total that now sits at 58 this season.
