Night Terror ($2.20, Allan Davis) started DSBF action with a wire-to-wire 1:55.4 win over Sweetest Swing and Showdown Lynx. Co-owned by trainer Steve Leblanc, the Badlands Hanover colt overcame post eight quickly and never relented in achieving his fifth win of the season as the overwhelming favourite.
Gty Stable's Gaitway Guy ($3.20, Corey Callahan) won the second split in 1:54.3, the fastest of the three divisions. The Delmarvalous gelding uncorked a vicious rally near three-quarters and drew away from the field for his eighth career win. Badlands Casino was second with
Favourites completed a sweep of the DSBF divisions as Let It Ride Stables' Bad Boy Too ($2.10, Corey Callahan) was a 1:55.3 winner in the final division over Nottes Mist and Bad Colt. The Badlands Hanover gelding notched his fourth win of the season for trainer Mike Hall in dominant fashion.
In the $20,000 Open Pace, the overnight feature, George and Tina Dennis' Wager On Me ($6.40, Ross Wolfenden) was a 1:52 winner over Itsrockandroll A and Metallica. It was the fourth win of the meet and seventh on the year for the seven-year-old Bettors Delight gelding, who is trained by Joe Columbo.
