Real Bond was no match for his top pacing rivals as he hightailed it to the top from the outside post position and cruised to his third win in a row on Saturday afternoon in the $1,500 Winners Over Pace at Exhibition Park

Raceway.

With trainer Robert Laffin at the controls, Real Bond maintained a comfortable lead on the field of five as he carved out fractions of :29.2, :59.1 and 1:28.4. The son of Real Desire-Hornby Heart then cruised to the wire in 1:58, equalling his season's mark, for a one length score over pocket-sitter Grace And Harv (Gilles Barrieau) and Man In Pink (Mark Haig).

Real Bond has prevailed in all but one of his five starts this year for the Ultimate Stable of Greater Lakeburn, New Brunswick. The six-year-old gelding has won 25 of his 72 career starts while earning $30,773.
