Besides delving into the family's rich history and success in the harness racing industry, The Daily Gleaner report highlights the fact that the Trites brothers were money in the bank during last Thursday's card at Fredericton Raceway. The duo combined to win six of the eight dashes over the half-mile course.
Stephen is listed to drive seven horses tonight at Fredericton, while Todd is scheduled to be behind six. Click here to view the entries.
"We have fun racing out there," Stephen was quoted as saying. "They say we sit in the bike a lot alike. He's (Todd) got a good set of hands. He gets a lot out of a horse and makes them go fast. I like driving against him because I know he's safe and stuff. I can kind of predict what he's going to do. It's fun driving against him. It's even better when I beat him once in a while."
