With a carry-over of in excess of $19,000, Hoosier Park Racing & Casino has announced the largest guaranteed pool to date, a $50,000 Guaranteed Hoosier High-5 pool, for Tuesday, June 12 at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino.
In partnership with the Unites States Trotting Association Strategic Wagering program and the Indiana Standardbred Association, Hoosier Park will offer this signature wager for the 11-race card on Tuesday that is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday’s card will also feature a $3,031.29 carryover in the Pick-5 sequence.
In the last race of the evening, Bossy Pants utilized a ground saving trip to explode past her rivals and pull the 8-1 upset in a conditioned pace for fillies and mares. Scoring in 1:52.4, Bossy Pants scored her first win of the season from seven starts and established a lifetime best for trainer Joe Seekman.
The Hoosier High-5, also known as the pentafecta, is featured in the last race of every program at Hoosier Park with a 20-cent minimum wager and features a reduced takeout of 12-percent. The Hoosier High-5 is responsible for the biggest payout of the 2017 season with a $23,540.26 winning ticket paid out in early May.
