Not even the state of emergency called earlier this week in Leamington, Ont., would be enough to keep harness racing away from the 2010 Leamington Fair.
Race secretary Ian Fleming told Trot Insider on Thursday morning that the fairgrounds was not seriously impacted by last week's tornado and the Friday, June 18 card is still slated.
The June 18 card at Leamington will be the first fair race date of the year in Ontario. To view the condition sheet, click here.
Entries must be declared by Friday June 11, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. To enter horses, please call 519-326-8082. The draw will take on Sunday at Clinton Raceway.
