Trotting sire Kadabra would be pleased with the accomplishments of his daughters at Hiawatha Horse Park on Thursday evening, as they won three of the seven OSS Grassroots divisions

.

Wilsonator was the quickest daughter of Kadabra to win on the 12-race program. She laid down fractions of :28.1, :57.2 and 1:26.3 before coasting home in :30.2 to win by more than three lengths in 1:57 for driver Scott Zeron. First Avenue was second best and third went to Meadow Sapphire.

Rob Fellows trains the youngster for owners Michael Pozefsky of Gloversville, NY and Edward Wilson of Seagrave, ON. It was her second win of the season and the fifth of her career. She has banked in excess of $293,000 to date.

Excellence was another one of Kadabra’s winners, and her victory came in a career-best time of 1:58.4 for the team of driver Scott Coulter and trainer Frank O’Reilly. She rallied from off-the-pace and used a three-wide brush in the late stages of the mile en route to posting the head decision over Oaklea Sierra. Third went to Sooner Than Later.

O’Brien Award-winning trainer/driver Per Henriksen completed the Kadabra-sired triple with No Magic To It, who celebrated a maiden-breaking win for the partnership of Asa Farm or Norwood, ON and Thomas Nurmi of Washington, DC. Henriksen worked out a ground-saving trip for the filly, who got up in the final strides to win in 2:00.1 over Bertos Angel and Madencanadamatters.

Sent off as the 2-1 favourite, No Magic To It pushed her lifetime earnings to $24,715 with the win.

The other divisional winners were:

Isthatallyagot (Southwind Lustre-Zorgwijk Davita) 1:57

Tommi My Girl (Ken Warkentin-Razzle Dazzle Tom) 1:58.1
