Howmac Powerball provided the upset of the night. With driver Corey MacPherson aboard, the three-year-old gelding posted a 1:59 win at 17-1 odds, helping to create a $983.10 triactor ticket in a $2,600 pace. JD Racing Inc. of Cornwall, P.E.I. shares ownership of the winning son of Pang Shui with Atlantic Racing Power Group of Warren Grove, P.E.I., and Stewart MacDonald of Charlottetown.
