WRDC Online Contest Now Open!

2024 Western Regional Driving Championship Online Contest

Standardbred Canada has organized an online contest for the 2024 Western Regional Driving Championship (WRDC) at Century Downs Racetrack & Casino on Saturday, May 11.

The contest features an assortment of questions based on the WRDC races. Each question is worth a predetermined number of points. The contestant who earns the highest number of points out of a possible 20 will be declared the winner. 

The winner will receive a $50 credit to HPI and 125 TrackIT credits. 

Here are the contest questions:

  • Select the post position that will return the highest number of wins from the WRDC races. (4 points)
  • Select the driver that you think will win the first WRDC race. (4 points)
  • Select the WRDC race that will have the greatest margin of victory. (4 points) 
  • Select the driver that you think will win the WRDC. (4 points)
  • Select the runner-up for the WRDC. (4 points)

The contest will close Saturday, May 11 at 11:45 a.m. (MDT) / 1:45 p.m. (EDT). Click here for the contest rules.

Drivers receive points based on their official finish position in each WRDC race. The two drivers with the most points will advance to the National Driving Championship at Hippodrome 3R in Trois-Rivières, Que., on Friday, July 5.

The eight drivers will participate in eight competition races. Each race will have a field of eight and all the drivers will compete in eight races and drive from every post position.
