Zippett Racing Stable's Murmur Hanover ($4.60, Victor Kirby) was a 1:56.3 winner Wednesday (May 9) at Harrington Raceway in the $15,000 Open Trot.

The eight-year-old Majestic Son gelding notched his 27th career win, prevailing over Classic Belisima and Gillie The Kid. The Jay Gannon trainee pulled from the pocket and cleared leader I Like My Boss at the top of the stretch before drawing away from the field. Murmur Hanover boosted his lifetime bankroll to more than $770,000.

In the final race on the card, Iron Mine Branch’s Fight The Truth ($2.40, Art Stafford Jr.) won his fourth straight race in 1:55.3 for trainer Greg Haverstick.
