Jody Jamieson lived up to the title as Canada’s leading driver for wins and money on Saturday afternoon at Flamboro Racetrack when he piloted five winners on the 10-race program
.
Jamieson teamed up with trainer Bill Robinson for a pair of victories starting in the third race with Mancasso (1:55.3). After scoring two more back-to-back wins with Spectacular Link (1:57.2) for Shawn Robinson and Whispering Hope (1:57.3) for Gord Ford, Jamieson guided Imperieux A (1:58.1) to his third straight win for Bill Robinson in Race 7.
The resident of Cambridge, Ontario added one more triumph to his tally in Race 9 with Intrepid Brigadier (1:58.1) for conditioner Rene Allard.
The 2009 Woodbine Winter-Spring meet leader, who is the subject of Standardbred Canada’s weekly web poll, has recorded 256 wins this year with over $2.5 million in purses earned giving him a grand total of 4,532 wins in his career good for over $56.9 million in earnings.
