Art Stafford Jr. and the five-year-old Bar Hopping gelding notched his second win of the year in wire-to-wire fashion over Northern Express and Speed Away. Trained by Bobby Clark, That Ole Bar Stool boosted his career earnings over $310,000.
P T Stable's Gotta Habit ($6) and Russell Foster scored his fourth win in his last five starts with a 1:56.4 score in a $19,863 conditioned trot. The four-year-old Cantab Hall gelding already has six wins on the year for trainer Crissy Crissman-Bier.
Tlb Racing's Major Escape ($2.20) notched his third straight win in a $17,123 claiming event in 1:53.3. The Traci Berry trainee used his customary front-end style to extend the win streak, but was claimed out of the race for new owner Rodney Long.
Live harness racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule with a 4:30 p.m. post time.
