Tlb Racing's Sprocket ($5.40) notched his third straight win in the $30,822 Open Pace at Harrington Raceway in 1:52.3 on Monday, May 6.
Pat Berry and the Traci Berry trainee made the lead near the opening quarter and never relented, winning over Mack and Big Chic Magnet. A nine-year-old Sportswriter gelding, Sprocket has banked more than $550,000 in his career, which has included 34 wins.
Earlier on the card, Berry guided Sweet Angel Boy ($7.20) to his third straight score for trainer/owner Bobby Glassmeyer in 1:52.4, in a Winners Over event.
Monday was a good day for the older horses as 10-year-old Proper One ($4.80) notched his third straight triumph in 1:55 for driver Cody Poliseno, trainer Carlo Poliseno and owner Louis Tomczak Jr.
Art Stafford Jr. had four wins, while Pat Berry and Montrell Teague each had a driving triple.
Live harness racing at Harrington will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule with a 4:30 p.m. first post.
