Feeling Cam Lucky, driven by George Napolitano Jr., continued his winning ways on Sunday in the featured event at Harrah's Philadelphia, a pace for non-winners of $20,000 in their last five starts.
Fitting under the non-winners of nine races portion of the condition, the six-year-old gelding by the great sire Camluck picked up his third straight win for owner/trainer Gilbert Garcia-Herrera.
Starting from post seven, Feeling Cam Lucky floated out early, before pouncing on the leader to clear at the quarter (:26.3). He was dominant after that, turning away the first-over challenge of Gerard N Mo (Dave Miller) to win by an in-hand length in 1:49.4, a life's best. Emeritus Maximus (Tim Tetrick) finished second, while Hall Bro (Brett Miller) closed sharply after being shuffled to finish third.
It was career win nine for Feeling Cam Lucky. The victory puts him over $186,000 in career earnings.
