Driver Dan Deslandes earned the 1,000th win of his career on Wednesday (May 5), reaching the milestone with Millwood Faith N in the seventh race at Bangor Raceway.
The 28-year-old Deslandes guided the 11-year-old mare to a 1:59.3 win, her third in four starts this year. Deslandes, who is currently second in the Bangor Raceway standings behind Bruce Ranger, also won the afternoon's 10th race with Love Love Me Do.
Live racing returns to Bangor Raceway on May 16, and will continue every Wednesday (3 p.m.) and Sunday (12:15 p.m.) through July 21.
