The Allard brothers were on a serious roll at Georgian Downs on Tuesday evening, with Simon chalking up five wins and his brother, Rene, supplying him with a trio of those
winners on the 12-race program.
Rene and Simon joined forces to win with Ocean Lavec (1:58.4) in Race 8, Good And Plenty (1:57.3) in Race 10 and Tyber King (1:53.2) in Race 11.
Simon, who enjoyed a career year in 2009 with 312 wins and more than $2.6 million in purse earnings, added a pair of wins with the Shawn Robinson-trained Major Glass (1:53.4) in Race 5 and Fox Valley Ross (1:54.4) in Race 9 to bring his nightly win total to five.
Rene, who has sent out 72 winners so far this season, also enjoyed a career year in 2009. He harnessed more than 1,200 starters and came away with 291 wins and more then $2.4 million in purse earnings.
