On Friday, June 4 at Mohawk Racetrack, O'Brien Award winner Crys Dream will look to keep her eight-race win streak alive, as she is scheduled to headline a pair of $86,781 divisions of the Casual Breeze Stakes
for three-year-old trotting fillies.
Crys Dream (Tauras Dream--Crystas Image) made a big statement in her sophomore debut on May 16 by defeating older company in 1:54.2.
"That was a tall order for her," driver Luc Ouellette said about the impressive mile. "She has obviously come back good and she was a great filly at two. It will be nice to see what she does at three."
The Henrik Hollsten pupil captured last years $466,000 Peaceful Way Stakes and $502,000 Goldsmith Maid during a season which saw her earn $596,065 in purses.
The bay filly has won eight of her nine career starts for owners Reve Avec Moi Dreamwithme, TLP Stable, Jerry Silva and Deo Volente Farm.
Crys Dream will start from Post 5 in the second division (Race 8).
Fellow O'Brien Award winner Idyllic will be making her seasonal pari-mutuel debut Friday for trainer Casie Coleman and driver David Miller in Race 2, a $25,000 event for three-year-old pacing fillies.
