Mcseaside blistered the Eldorado Scioto Downs track on the way to setting a track record as she won the second $55,000 division of the Ohio Sires Stakes for three-year-old pacing fillies in 1:49.4 on Monday.

Lofty Treasure raced to the lead off the gate and held the lead through the first half-mile in fractions of :25.3 and :54.1.  Down the backstretch, Super Girl took over the lead at three-quarters in 1:22 with Mcseaside in close pursuit.

As the two rounded the final turn, Chris Page swung the daughter of Downbytheseaside wide, grabbing the lead at the top of the stretch and holding on down the lane to win by a length.  Dragon By The Sea finished second with Fear Of Sports third.

Trained by Ron Burke and owned by Burke Racing Stable, Beasty LLC, J&T Silva Stables and Knox Services, Mcseaside won for the second time this year. She raised her lifetime earnings to $358,114.

In the other $55,000 division, Cruise Alert with Dan Noble went gate to wire to win in a new lifetime mark of 1:51.3.  Trained by Jeff Nisonger and owned by Our Three Sons Stable and Nisonger Stable, the daughter of Yankee Cruiser won for the fourth time in six starts.  She raised her lifetime earnings to $228,713.  Hey Hey Mama was second with Kassagi third.

In the $100,000 division for sophomore filly trotters, Contechsfashion with Trevor Smith was third turning for home but found racing room down the inside of the stretch to win in 1:54.2.  It was the second win in four starts this year for the daughter of Credit Fashion.  Trained by Chris Beaver and owned by Martin Yoder and Evans Cattle Co, Contechsfashion has now earned $87,203.  First-leg winners Rose Run Yolanda and Rose Run Yanae finished second and third.

Ohio Sires Stakes action resumes June 3 with three-year-old colt pacers at MGM Northfield Park.
