Horseplayers will be all over the start of Monday evening’s card at Woodbine Mohawk Park for the early Pick-5, featuring a $65,885.80 carryover.
The carryover of $65,885.80 stems from Saturday evening’s late Pick-5, which saw longshots dominate. From the five races, a horse at 15-1 or higher won four times and no horseplayers successfully selected five of five.
Monday evening’s early Pick-5 pool is estimated to reach $300,000.
The early Pick-5 is Woodbine Mohawk Park’s most popular wager, featuring a $100,000 guarantee each race night. The multi-leg wager has a 20-cent minimum and a low 15 per cent takeout.
