A pair of talented three-year-old trotters took new lifetime marks in the their respective overnight assignments Thursday evening at Woodbine Mohawk Park, and the eye-catching performances should set them up nicely for some upcoming stake events at the Campbellville, Ont. oval.

Okeanos survived a parked out journey for driver Paul MacDonell and came away with a hard-fought triumph in 1:56. The son of E L Titan-Enjoy N My Lady was out the route in the $17,000 overnight affair, but he still managed to kick home in :28.1 en route to posting a one-length win over JMR Pinarello.

The Roger Mayotte-trained gelding, who was an OSS Gold Series winner last season, has the OSS program to look forward to in addition to the upcoming Goodtimes Stake. The career winner of $117,180 is owned by Just In Time Stable and R A W Equine Inc.

Jumpshot turned a two-hole trip into a career-best clocking of 1:55.2 for driver Mario Baillargeon in an $18,000 conditioned event later on the card.

The son of E L Titan-Chef Heartsalot shadowed Mister Of All through fractions of :28.1, :57.2 and 1:26.3 before angling out of the pocket and firing home in :28.2 to win by 4-1/4 lengths over that foe. Cheatalotpov was third.

Sent off at odds of 17-1, the Jean Francois Maguire-trained gelding nabbed his first win of the season and the third of his career for the Silver Stables of Venise-En-Quebec. The career winner of $92,618 also posted an OSS Gold Series win during last year’s rookie campaign. He, too, remains eligible to next month’s Goodtimes Stake.
