Indiana Hall Wires Grand River Foes

Veteran trotter Indiana Hall was a wire-to-wire winner in the $11,000 Preferred 2 feature at Grand River Raceway on Wednesday evening

The consistent Striking Sahbra son, who has not missed the board in his eight most recent outings, notched his 51st career win for the S S G Stables.

Driver Trevor Henry sent Indiana Hall to command from post four and carved out fractions of :28.1, :58.4, and 1:29.1 en route to a 1:58.1 triumph. He turned back a challenge from the Ross Battin-driven Traverse Seelster in the process for a winning margin of three-quarters of a length. Chewey and Robert Shepherd finished third. Indiana Hall paid $3.30 to win as the 3-5 favourite.

The winner of seven races from 16 seasonal starts is trained by Ian Downey. He now boasts career earnings totalling $773,212.
