.

A report by WSAZ News Channel 3 tells the story of the 45-year-old Douglas, who rides twice a week with her horse, Valentine, who was a Christmas present.

"A lot of people probably wouldn't have wanted to take this on," said Douglas, who is part of the team at Taylor Made Farm in Hurricane, West Virginia. She went on to say, "I've never really let the fact that I can't see get in the way of me doing anything."

"Michelle is a very talented lady. You can't ever tell her that she can't do anything," said instructor Jane Jarvis, who went on to say, "It gives me a lot of confidence, but, also, it makes me feel good that I can help make someone else's dream come true."

"Doing this for Michelle is a highlight of my life," said Taylor Made Farm Owner Winsford Taylor. "If you can help one person --- one person --- then you've done great."
