Market Dynamics was certainly dynamic in leading gate-to-wire to win Thursday’s $8,500 Fillies & Mares Open Pace at Vernon Downs.

Market Dynamics was sent immediately to the front by driver-trainer Rick Plano and was never really threatened through fractions of :27.2, :56.1 and 1:23.4. She used a :28-second kicker to win in 1:51.4 over Love You Bye and Artic Byrd.

Market Dynamics, who is owned by Mindy Findling Repko of Delray Beach, Florida, paid $21.80 to win.

Racing resumes at Vernon Downs with a 12-race program on Friday night that includes three divisions of the New York Sire Stakes for three-year-old pacing fillies.

The horse to watch is O’Brien Award winner Precocious Beauty, who will be making her 2014 season debut, in the seventh race. The Friday program also includes the eliminations for the Empire Breeders' Classic with the Final to be held at Vernon Downs on June 8. Post time for the Friday program is 6:45 p.m.
