It isn't out of the ordinary to hear of horses going missing. It isn't out of the ordinary to hear of those horses eventually being found. However, it is extraordinary to hear of a lost horse being found via telepathy.

As a report by The Seattle Times explains, 'Gemma,' a missing Norwegian fjord, was located and rescued on Tuesday, May 28 in Redmond, Washington after her owners consulted with Joan Ranquet, an acclaimed horse communicator.

The article explains that Ranquet communicated with Gemma via telepathy and was thus able to determine that the 800-pound horse was in a tight space located near some shrubbery. Ranquet also said that Gemma could hear road noise and water.

Gemma, who is reported to be a bit of a troublemaker, was eventually lifted out of what has been described as a deep ravine.

“It’s amazing,” her owner, Barbara Linstedt, was quoted as saying. “It’s an absolute miracle that we found her and got her out.”
