The five-year-old Blissfull Hall mare left alertly from post seven for driver Jim Morand and set all the fractions before holding off late charges from No Bad Luck (second) and Docdor Libby (third) for a narrow win in 1:53.3. Trained by Les Givens, Nice N Nice has now won six of 14 starts this season and banked nearly $60,000. She was purchased for Givens in early March and has reeled off five wins and two seconds since.
Harrington’s leading driver, Ross Wolfenden, had three winners on the program.
