The Tuesday, May 28 evening finale and featured $9,500 conditioned trot at The Raceway at Western Fair District was 'magical' for Cassidy Schneider-trained Spun From Magic ($20) as the seven-year-old horse upset the field at 9-1 odds, defeating favoured Made Of Magic in the stretch.

Spun From Magic and Natasha Day claimed the early lead, handling the timer with panels in :29 and :59.1. The duo maintained pylon control, but the bettors' choice, Made Of Magic (Tyler Borth), took command of the timer from the outside at the three-quarters in 1:28.2. Spun From Magic and Made Of Magic duelled in the stretch, but it was Spun From Magic who pulled ahead with a 1-1/2-length triumph in 1:58.3. Workinitonbroadway (Donald Rankin) rounded out the top three.
