Jmpridesmartypants seems to have finally put all the pieces together as the pacer has been near-perfect during his six-year-old season while racking up five straight

victories.

Jmpridesmartypants earned his fifth straight during Saturday's harness racing card at Hiawatha Horse Park. With Robert Sparling Jr. in the sulky, the Rambaran gelding worked his way to command from post seven and held off Keystone Soldier to win his conditioning assignment by half a length in 1:57.1.

Jmpridesmartypants finished sixth in his career debut back in the 2010 City of London Series -- his only start prior to 2012. After finishing a close second in his season's debut this year at Western Fair Raceway, Jmpridesmartypants has done nothing but win.

He returned $5 to his backers this time out as the 3-2 favourite. Paul Gangle trains and co-owns the brown gelding with breeder Marlene Lendvay of Harley, Ont.
